🌱Assist with grass cutting, hedge trimming, and general garden maintenance
🌱 Work with a team to maintain high standards in commercial landscapes
🌱 Learn how to use a variety of horticultural tools and equipment
🌱 Develop valuable skills while working in some of London’s most prestigious locations

Previous gardening or landscaping experience (preferred but not essential)
NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture (or similar) Just finishing your training? – Highly desirable
Full, clean UK driving licence – Highly desirable
A positive attitude, good communication, and a strong work ethic
No formal qualifications? No problem! If you have a passion for gardening and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Our projects span across West and North West London, so if you’re based in this area, this could be the role for you.
Hours: Monday - Friday 07.30 - 16.30 hrs 40 hours per week

We are looking for a Red Tractor Crops & Produce Assessor to join our team of contractors in Yorkshire.
Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct on-farm assessments
Summarize and evaluate audit findings, and submit reports in a timely manner
Communicate findings and results of audits with client site management or appropriate client representatives
Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits within a determined timeframe
Establish and maintain effective communication with key team members, including audit delivery and client teams

NVQ Level 3 in an Agricultural related subject
On-farm crops and produce experience (3 years)
The ability to communicate with and engage with the farming community and colleagues in a confident and patient manner
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiasm, energy, a keen eye for detail, and a passion to improve standards
Ability to manage conflict and difficult situations
Ability to manage own time and meet strict deadlines
A flexible approach
Respect for individual and Company confidentiality rights
Full UK driving license

You'll assist and guide colleagues in performing plant maintenance tasks. Regularly inspect crops for pests, diseases, or irrigation issues.
You'll prepare and organise stock for customer orders, ensuring quality standards. Load and unload plants for orders and stock.
You will follow procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording of stock movements within the nursery systems.

You'll already have a strong passion for an understanding of horticulture, preferably in a commercial setting. A recognised horticultural qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Your spray licences will also be a big advantage, but don't worry if you don't have these, this company are open to putting the right person through their training.

Employment Type: This is a 6-month contract (40 hours per week) with the opportunity to become permanent.
