Leading and motivating a team to meet daily and seasonal nursery targets
Hands-on involvement in crop maintenance, including monitoring plant health, quality and irrigation
Supporting plant health and company assurance schemes
Stock movements, order picking, loading and unloading
Ensuring accurate stock recording using both computerised and manual systems
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and supporting risk assessments
Working collaboratively with managers, colleagues and the sales team

You will have practical horticultural experience within a nursery or growing environment, confidence in leading and supporting others, and a strong eye for plant quality and detail.
You will be organised, communicative, and comfortable working hands-on alongside your team in a fast-paced setting.
An understanding of plant health, integrated crop management, and safe use of plant protection products is essential.
A willingness to develop, engage in training, and take responsibility for your own professional growth is expected.

Working Hours: 8am to 16:30 Monday to Friday - being a Team Leader, some overtime (rostered + crop specific) will be expected (plants don't take the weekend off).

We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that involves a variety of tasks across the nursery. If you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a collaborative team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Carry out a range of nursery tasks, including potting, setting out, and moving plants between sections.
Nurture and maintain plant stock to ensure quality and health.
Load and unload lorries using a telehandler and assist with packing orders for dispatch.
Ensure plants are correctly labelled and in excellent condition before leaving the site.
Work independently when required, while contributing to a positive team dynamic.

Previous horticultural experience is desirable but not essential - we value a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to handle physical tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driving license is essential.
An interest in plants and horticulture is highly beneficial.

Based at our main nursery in Albrighton near Wolverhampton, this role reports to the Head of Commercial Sales and includes regional travel to visit key accounts when necessary. The role requires the successful candidate to manage customer accounts, nurture customer relationships on a daily basis whilst also tendering, pricing, tracking opportunities and conducting regular follow ups.
We’re seeking a driven, self-motivated individual with strong plant knowledge and experience of the commercial landscaping industry coupled with good communication and negotiations skills which are essential.

Collaborate with the wider sales team to price incoming enquiries and manage customer accounts professionally.
Schedule and conduct regular follow-ups with customers regarding outstanding quotations, negotiating orders to successful completion.
Support the wider team by ensuring efficient and accurate order processing.

Growing, managing and maintaining plants on site including watering and feeding
Monitoring of pests and diseases, including occasional pest and disease management
Ability to care for plants including deadheading and pruning when required

This is a hands-on management role responsible for the day-to-day leadership, organisation and performance of the site. The Nursery Manager will play a central role in delivering exceptional crop quality, maintaining rigorous plant health and biosecurity standards, and ensuring safe, efficient and professional nursery operations.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will manage teams on site, plan and coordinate work programmes, oversee crop production, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of nursery performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, motivating and developing nursery teams, setting clear expectations and targets
Planning daily and weekly work schedules in collaboration with the Production Manager
Ensuring all crops are grown, maintained and presented to the highest standards
Monitoring crops for irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease issues, applying ICM/IPM principles
Managing irrigation strategies appropriate to crop, season and conditions
Upholding plant health, biosecurity and accreditation scheme requirements
Promoting strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with COSHH and company procedures
Maintaining accurate records for crops, stock, labour and safety using company systems
Participating in out-of-hours cover on a rota basis to ensure continuity of plant care

You will have strong practical experience in commercial nursery production, with proven leadership and people-management skills.
You will be confident managing teams, making sound horticultural decisions, and maintaining high standards across plant quality, safety and organisation.
